- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 cup brown sugar (for filling)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for filling)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll dough tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch thick rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While rolls are baking, prepare frosting: In a bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
- Once rolls are baked, let them cool slightly before frosting.
- Spread cream cheese frosting over warm rolls and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts to the filling.
- You can also use a pre-made cream cheese frosting.
- Store leftover rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
