- 6 cups cubed bread
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange bread cubes in the prepared dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, milk, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes.
- Let it sit for 15-20 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use stale bread for best results.
- Add chocolate chips or nuts for extra flavor.
- Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
