Description

These bite-sized lettuce wedges offer a fun and easy appetizer. They are a miniature version of the classic wedge salad.


Ingredients

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the iceberg lettuce.
  2. Cut the lettuce head into 1-inch thick rounds.
  3. Cut each round into 6-8 wedges.
  4. Arrange the lettuce wedges on a serving platter.
  5. Drizzle each wedge with blue cheese dressing.
  6. Sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and bacon.
  7. Garnish with chives and cherry tomatoes, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
