- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- Cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and thoroughly dry the iceberg lettuce.
- Cut the lettuce head into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Cut each round into 6-8 wedges.
- Arrange the lettuce wedges on a serving platter.
- Drizzle each wedge with blue cheese dressing.
- Sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and bacon.
- Garnish with chives and cherry tomatoes, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, use cold lettuce and dressing.
- You can substitute ranch dressing for blue cheese dressing.
- Add other toppings like avocado or red onion.
- Prepare the wedges just before serving to prevent wilting.
