- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Black olives, sliced (for ghost eyes)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush baguette slices with olive oil and minced garlic.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Top each crostini with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Arrange tomato halves on top of the mozzarella to resemble a ghost shape.
- Add sliced black olives for the ghost’s eyes.
- Bake for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Sprinkle with fresh basil, salt, and pepper before serving.
