Description

Deconstructed cheeseburger served in a bowl. Enjoy all the flavors of a cheeseburger without the bun.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
  • Optional: Burger bun croutons

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet with the onion and garlic. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the beef with the sauce mixture.
  6. In individual bowls, layer lettuce, beef mixture, cheese, tomatoes, and pickles.
  7. Add burger bun croutons if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.

  • Adjust seasoning to your preference.
  • Use your favorite type of cheese.
  • Add other toppings such as bacon or avocado.
