Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 ounces macaroni pasta
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook steak, onion, and bell pepper over medium-high heat until steak is browned and vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in cheddar and provolone cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add cooked macaroni and steak mixture to the cheese sauce. Stir to combine.
