Ingredients

- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup nuts (almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until evenly coated.
- Spread the granola in a thin layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely.
- Stir in chocolate chips, if using.
- Store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- Use your favorite nuts and chocolate chips.
- Granola will crisp up as it cools.
