Deconstructed egg roll with crispy cabbage and savory flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 head green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger, ground
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs, scrambled
Instructions
- Brown ground pork in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add cabbage, carrots, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until cabbage is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
- Push cabbage mixture to one side of the skillet. Pour in scrambled eggs on the other side and cook until set.
- Chop the scrambled eggs and mix them into the cabbage mixture.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Add a drizzle of sriracha for extra heat.
- Top with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for garnish.
- Use ground turkey or chicken instead of pork.
- Add other vegetables like mushrooms or water chestnuts.
