Easy and delicious apple and goat cheese croissant sandwich.

- 4 large croissants
- 4 ounces goat cheese (115 g)
- 1 crisp apple (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 handful fresh arugula or spinach
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and thinly slice the apple. Slice croissants in half horizontally.
- Spread the Goat Cheese: Spread goat cheese evenly on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Add Apples and Greens: Layer apple slices over the goat cheese and add arugula or spinach.
- Drizzle Honey: Drizzle honey lightly over the apples and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Place the top half of each croissant over the filling.
- Toast the Sandwich: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Toast croissant sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and warm.
- Serve: Remove from skillet and serve warm.
Notes
- Use your favorite type of apple.
- Adjust honey and pepper to your taste.
