Description

Easy and delicious apple and goat cheese croissant sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants
  • 4 ounces goat cheese (115 g)
  • 1 crisp apple (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 handful fresh arugula or spinach
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and thinly slice the apple. Slice croissants in half horizontally.
  2. Spread the Goat Cheese: Spread goat cheese evenly on the bottom half of each croissant.
  3. Add Apples and Greens: Layer apple slices over the goat cheese and add arugula or spinach.
  4. Drizzle Honey: Drizzle honey lightly over the apples and sprinkle with black pepper.
  5. Assemble the Sandwich: Place the top half of each croissant over the filling.
  6. Toast the Sandwich: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Toast croissant sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and warm.
  7. Serve: Remove from skillet and serve warm.
