Description

Make this easy chocolate granola for a delicious breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, and nuts.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the mixture in a thin layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until granola is crisp and golden brown.
  7. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Notes
