Description

Quick and delicious salmon tacos with a creamy and crunchy slaw.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • Optional toppings: avocado, salsa, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place salmon on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through. Flake with a fork.
  4. In a bowl, combine cabbage, mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Warm tortillas.
  6. Fill each tortilla with flaked salmon and creamy slaw.
  7. Add desired toppings.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust spices to your preference.
  • For spicier tacos, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the salmon or slaw.
  • You can grill or pan-fry the salmon instead of baking.
