- 3 large eggs, separated
- 3 tbsp (45g) cream cheese or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- Pinch of salt (optional, for flavor)
- Optional add-ins: garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, shredded cheese, or a dash of cinnamon and vanilla for sweet versions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the eggs and place the whites in one bowl and the yolks in another.
- Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar on high until stiff peaks form.
- In the second bowl, whisk the egg yolks with cream cheese or yogurt until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites.
- Spoon spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming round “buns” about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and slightly firm.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes

- For sweeter bread, add a dash of cinnamon and vanilla.
