  • About 1 1/2 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts. (Pound ’em thin – it helps ’em cook evenly!)
  • Olive oil – for drizzling, naturally!
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper – to taste, of course.
  • 6 Tbsp of Greek vinaigrette dressing – I love the store-bought kind, but homemade is great too!
  • 4 (10-inch, burrito size) flour tortillas. (Wheat, low carb, spinach – whatever you like!)
  • 3/4 cup of hummus. (Store-bought is fine, but I’ve included my super-easy homemade recipe below, too!)
  • 3 cups of chopped romaine lettuce.
  • 2 medium roma tomatoes, diced.
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and diced.
  • And finally, 1/2 cup (about 2.5 oz) of feta cheese, crumbled. The saltier, the better, I say!

How to Make a Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap: Step-by-Step Instructions

Okay, ready to get wrapping? Don’t worry, it’s easier than you think! Just follow these steps, and you’ll be chowing down on a delicious Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap in no time!

Preparing the Greek Grilled Chicken

First things first, let’s get that chicken grilled! Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 425 degrees). While it’s heating up, brush the chicken breasts with a little olive oil, and season ’em with salt and pepper. Don’t be shy! Once the grill’s hot, oil the grates (careful, it splatters!), and grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until it hits 165°F. Let it rest for 10 minutes (this is important!), then dice it up and toss it with that yummy Greek dressing.

Assembling Your Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap

Now for the fun part: assembly! Lay out your tortillas. Spread about 3 tablespoons of hummus on each – don’t go too crazy, or it’ll squish out the sides! Then, pile on the Greek grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and feta cheese. Finally, wrap those tortillas up nice and tight. If you’re new to wrapping, fold in the sides first, then roll it all up from the bottom. And there you have it – a perfect Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap!

Tips for the Best Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap

Want to take your Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap to the *next* level? Of course, you do! So listen up, because I’ve got some secrets to share. First, don’t overcook the chicken! Dry chicken is sad chicken. Use a meat thermometer, people! Also, when you’re assembling, don’t overload the wrap, or it’ll be a disaster. A little goes a long way! And here’s a big one: warm the tortilla slightly before wrapping. It makes it *way* easier to roll without tearing. Trust me on this!

Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap Variations

Okay, so you’ve made the basic Greek Grilled Chicken & Hummus Wrap. Awesome! But what if you’re feeling a little…adventurous? Well, guess what? This recipe is *super* easy to customize! My favorite part is adding a little something extra to the chicken marinade. Try a pinch of oregano or some smoked paprika! Ooh, and don’t even get me started on veggies! Roasted red peppers are amazing in these wraps. Or, if you’re feeling spicy, add a few slices of jalapeño. And hey, why not try a different kind of tortilla? Sun-dried tomato? Spinach? The possibilities are endless!
