Description

Make simple Greek Yogurt Bagels with few ingredients. You can customize them with various toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (thick consistency)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings: Everything bagel seasoning, cinnamon, shredded cheese, garlic & herbs, chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add cinnamon if desired.
  3. Stir in Greek yogurt until a dough forms. Knead with your hands.
  4. Flour a surface. Divide dough into 4 portions. Roll each into a ball, flatten, and create a hole.
  5. Whisk egg and brush bagels. Sprinkle with toppings.
  6. Bake on the sheet for 22-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy.
