- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (thick consistency)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional toppings: Everything bagel seasoning, cinnamon, shredded cheese, garlic & herbs, chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Add cinnamon if desired.
- Stir in Greek yogurt until a dough forms. Knead with your hands.
- Flour a surface. Divide dough into 4 portions. Roll each into a ball, flatten, and create a hole.
- Whisk egg and brush bagels. Sprinkle with toppings.
- Bake on the sheet for 22-25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy.
Notes
- Use thick Greek yogurt for best results.
- Adjust baking time based on your oven.
- Store bagels in an airtight container.
