Description

A simple and satisfying ground turkey and rice bake.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, onion, and pepper.
  3. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use any type of cooked rice.
  • For a healthier option, use low-fat cream of mushroom soup.
