Description

Enjoy guilt-free churro bites made easily in your air fryer. These are a healthier alternative to traditional fried churros.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, oil, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until a ball forms.
  3. Let cool slightly, then beat in the egg until smooth.
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  7. Pipe 2-inch strips of dough into the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
  10. Roll the churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  11. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
  • For extra flavor, add a dash of vanilla extract to the dough.
  • Serve with chocolate sauce or caramel dip.
