- 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples and lemon juice.
- In a separate bowl, mix together oats, almond flour, walnuts, coconut sugar, coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour apple mixture into a baking dish.
- Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and apples are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla yogurt or ice cream.
- Adjust the amount of coconut sugar to your liking.
- You can substitute other nuts for walnuts.
