Description

Enjoy moist and delicious Healthy Chocolate Chip Greek Yogurt Muffins. This recipe uses Greek yogurt for a tender texture and reduced fat content.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup neutral oil or melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, oil or melted butter, eggs, milk and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold everything together until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, saving a small handful to sprinkle on top.
  6. Divide the batter evenly between the muffin cups and bake for 18–20 minutes.
  7. Let them cool slightly before eating.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter for softer muffins.
  • Add extra chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
