- 1 pound Tilapia fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Optional toppings: avocado, salsa, hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place Tilapia fillets on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- While the fish is baking, prepare the slaw by combining shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix well.
- Warm the corn tortillas.
- Flake the cooked Tilapia into smaller pieces.
- Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with flaked Tilapia and slaw.
- Add your favorite toppings, such as avocado, salsa, or hot sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can grill or pan-fry the Tilapia instead of baking.
- For a spicier slaw, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter slaw.
