Description
Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella Bites are a simple and delicious appetizer.
Ingredients

- 16 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Drain the mozzarella balls and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Cut each slice of prosciutto in half lengthwise.
- Wrap each mozzarella ball with a piece of prosciutto.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the wrapped mozzarella balls to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until the prosciutto is lightly browned and crispy.
- Remove from skillet and place on a serving platter.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use different types of cheese, such as provolone or fontina.
- Add a toothpick to each bite for easier serving.
