Enjoy these simple Greek yogurt breakfast biscuits. They are flaky, moist, and golden brown.
Ingredients

- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter (cold, cubed)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 egg (for glaze)
- 1 tsp water (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Measure dry ingredients. Cube butter and refrigerate.
- Pour dry ingredients into a bowl. Add butter and cut into the flour until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
- Whisk together Greek yogurt, egg, and water in a separate bowl.
- Pour wet ingredients into the flour-butter mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface. Knead gently 8-10 times.
- Roll dough to 1 inch thick. Cut into shapes and place on baking sheets. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Notes
- Keep butter as cold as possible for flaky biscuits.
- Do not overwork the dough.
