Description

A flavorful and healthy dish combining ground turkey with spicy cauliflower rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 head cauliflower, riced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeño to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in cauliflower rice, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook until cauliflower rice is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Garnish with cilantro, if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of jalapeño and cayenne pepper to your preferred spice level.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground turkey with plant-based crumbles.
  • Cauliflower rice can be store-bought or homemade.
