Description

Sugar-free cranberry sauce is a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional cranberry sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup erythritol or other sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, water, erythritol, orange zest, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of sweetener to your taste.
  • For a smoother sauce, use an immersion blender after cooking.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
