- 1 1/2 cups (150g) pumpkin puree
- 1 1/4 cups (300ml) evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- Beat in eggs until well combined.
- Pour filling into pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother filling, use a blender or food processor to combine ingredients.
- To prevent the crust from browning too quickly, cover the edges with foil during the last 20 minutes of baking.
- Store leftover pie in the refrigerator.
