A flavorful and satisfying keto taco salad.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons salsa
  • 1/4 avocado, diced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.
  3. In a large bowl, combine romaine lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and black olives.
  4. Top with seasoned ground beef, sour cream, salsa, and avocado.
  5. Serve with lime wedges.

Notes

  • Adjust taco seasoning to taste.
  • Add other desired toppings, such as jalapenos or onions.
  • For a spicier salad, use hot salsa.
